As part of your on-boarding process, you were able to import one or more sample templates to your profile. By default, the Master Services Agreement template was included. You may or may not have chosen more.
These are automatically categorized as “Template Examples”. You can add your own template categories if you wish.
Each template is comprised of Sections. When combined together they form a document which you can send out to a customer.
Hover your mouse over Templates in the main menu and click on View Templates.
Here you will see a list of the templates that have been populated into the system for you (or a list of all your templates).
Edit a Template
Click on the Options button below the "Master Services Agreement" template and click Edit.
The Template details page will open. Click on the blue Template Builder button on the right.
You will automatically see the sections that the Master Services Agreement is made up of, including other items such as the section list index to the right.
Here you can add sections by clicking the blue Add section to template button. Click and drag the section to where you want it to sit (eg Cover page goes first).
You can also remove a section if it is no longer relevant by clicking the red Remove button.
When you are ready, click the blue Next button lower right.
Advanced Settings
Here you can review the Advanced Settings for the template. These are where you can set rules about each section in the template, for example you wish the Cover page to be read-only (no user can edit it), or you want the Agreement page to be Mandatory - no user can remove it from the template.
You can also choose to include a Pricing Bundle if you have one on file.
Click the blue Next button when you are ready to move on.
Workflow Rules
This is where you can set who can see this template, who can counter sign it, and any other automations that you require.
We recommend testing editing the email content, and then setting the first Email address in the Automation Emails section. Please enter the email address then the email subject. An email with the executed contract with be sent to this email address with this subject when the contract has been signed by all parties.
When you are ready, click the blue Save Changes button. You will be returned to the View Templates page. You're ready to test sending a template to a customer!
